Botox Injection

Anti-Wrinkle Injections

After assessing the unique dynamics of your facial expressions, we use anti-wrinkle injections to gently reduce the activity of targeted muscles. These micro-injections contain purified proteins derived from botulinum toxin, commonly known as Botox, one of the most popular cosmetic treatments in the world.
This treatment softens existing lines and helps prevent new wrinkles from forming. Treatments allow us to refresh your appearance while maintaining natural expression. Our goal is always subtle, balanced results that support a smooth, confident, and authentically you ageing process.

Dermal Fillers

We begin by evaluating the unique structure and contours of your face to determine how dermal fillers can best enhance your natural features. These injections use hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the skin, to restore lost volume, smooth lines, and improve hydration.

Dermal fillers can soften wrinkles, lift sagging areas, and add subtle definition to the cheeks, lips, and jawline. The treatment is designed to enhance your appearance while keeping your expressions natural and balanced. Our aim is always a refined, harmonious result that leaves you looking refreshed, confident, and authentically yourself.

FAQ's

Botox FAQ
1. What are Anti-Wrinkle Injections?

Anti-Wrinkle Injections use Botulinum Toxin Type A, a purified protein derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. They temporarily relax muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines. They are also used for medical purposes like excessive sweating, migraines, and muscle spasms.

2. How do Anti-Wrinkle Injections work?

The injections block nerve signals to the injected muscles, preventing them from contracting. This softens the appearance of wrinkles over the treated area. Effects typically start within 2–3 days and reach full effect after about 2 weeks.

3. How long do Anti-Wrinkle Injections last?

Results usually last 3–4 months, although duration varies depending on the individual, the area treated, and the dosage used. Regular maintenance treatments can prolong results.

4. Is the treatment painful?

Most patients experience only mild discomfort during injections. The needles used are very fine, and ice or topical numbing cream can be applied for extra comfort if required.

5. Are there any side effects?

Common side effects are mild and temporary, including:

  • Redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site

  • Mild headache or fatigue

  • Temporary drooping of the eyelid or brow (rare)

Serious side effects are extremely rare but require immediate medical attention.

6. Who should avoid Anti-Wrinkle Injections?

Anti-Wrinkle Injections should not be used by:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals

  • People with certain neuromuscular conditions (e.g., Myasthenia Gravis)

  • Individuals with active skin infections at the injection site

  • Anyone with known sensitivity to Botulinum Toxin

Always inform your practitioner about your medical history and medications.

7. How long does the procedure take?

Treatment is quick, usually 10–30 minutes depending on the areas treated. It is often referred to as a “lunchtime procedure” because patients can resume normal activities immediately afterward.

8. Can Anti-Wrinkle Injections be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Anti-Wrinkle Injections are commonly combined with dermal fillers, chemical peels, or skin boosters for a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Your practitioner will advise on safe combinations.

9. When will I see results?

Initial effects are typically visible within 2–3 days, with full results developing at about 2 weeks. Repeat treatments are required to maintain results.

10. Are Anti-Wrinkle Injections safe?

They have been widely used for cosmetic and medical purposes since the 1980s. When administered by a trained, qualified practitioner, they are considered very safe. Adhering to aftercare instructions reduces the risk of complications.

Dermal Filler FAQ's

Dermal Filler FAQ
1. What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments that use hyaluronic acid or other biocompatible substances to restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. They are commonly used for lips, cheeks, jawline, under-eyes, and nasolabial folds.

2. How do dermal fillers work?

The filler adds volume to the targeted area, lifting sagging skin, filling lines, and enhancing natural contours. Some fillers also help hydrate the skin and stimulate collagen production over time.

3. Are dermal fillers safe?

When administered by a qualified and trained medical professional, dermal fillers are generally safe. Side effects are usually temporary and mild, such as swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site. There are some rare but serious side effects that will be discussed with you on consultation.

4. How long will results last?

Results typically last between 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of filler used, the area treated, and individual metabolism. Regular maintenance treatments can prolong results.

5. Does the treatment hurt?

Discomfort is actually mild to minimal because most fillers contain a local anaesthetic to reduce pain. In areas of high sensitivity, such as the lips, we take great care with injection techniques to reduce discomfort. Ice or numbing cream can also be applied before treatment.

6. What is the recovery time?

Some patients who are unbothered by the swelling return to normal activities immediately. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising can last a few days but generally doesn’t interfere with daily life. In general, 2-4 weeks is required for the filler to 'settle' into the face.

7. Can dermal fillers be dissolved?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed, allowing adjustments or complete reversal of the treatment.

8. Who is suitable for dermal fillers?

Fillers are generally safe for adults in good health, but not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with certain allergies, people with certain implants or cosmetic procedures, or those with active skin infections in the treatment area. A consultation is required to assess suitability.

9. When will I see results?

Results are often visible immediately, with optimal effects appearing over 1-2 weeks as swelling settles and the filler integrates into the tissue.

10. How do I know which filler is right for me?

Your practitioner will assess your facial structure, skin quality, and aesthetic goals to recommend the most suitable filler type and treatment plan for natural, balanced results.
